Extraordinary Pieces With Beautiful Movement

Each of the “Spiral-Style” bowls made by Matteo Rossi on the potters wheel shows a unique spiraling pattern that evolves through the making process. No two bowls can ever be the same. The pattern giving each piece its individual character reflects the movement of the makers hands in the clay while forming the piece. A darker and a lighter clay are dancing spirals into each other as the wheel spins and the potters hands shape the clay into the desired form. The glaze gives the piece a very beautiful semi-matte finish and ensures each piece stands up to regular use without loosing its beauty and character.
